How to find and export your CompanyCam data.
CompanyCam's project export lists photo, document and video counts for every project. Admins and Managers can run it on the web app under Company Settings > Exports. Report the total photos, videos and documents as files.
Where CompanyCam shows how much you have.
- Sign in to the CompanyCam web app as an Admin or Manager.
- Open User Icon > Company Settings > Exports, click the menu icon, set the date range to cover all years and select Project.
- Click Export .CSV and open the file from your email.
- Add up the photo count, video count and document count columns.
Plan and role. Exports are for Admins and Managers on the web app only; Standard Users must ask one of them.
What to report on the Polyshares intake.
Report CompanyCam in files. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.
Enter the combined photos, videos and documents as files. CompanyCam counts files directly, which is a better measure than record counts for a photo tool. For years in use, take the oldest date created in the project export. For seats, count the users on your plan.
Export the full history.
- Run the project export above to get the full project list with addresses, labels, users and dates.
- Open each project, click the 3 Dot Icon in the top right, choose Download All Photos, enter your email and pick Original or Modified.
- Save each zip file as it arrives.
Photo downloads run one project at a time and arrive as zip files. Anyone on the account can download photos on any plan. Large accounts can take several minutes to produce the project CSV. CompanyCam does not publish per plan storage limits, so ask CompanyCam support about bulk download of the whole library.
The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.
Why CompanyCam data has value for AI training.
CompanyCam photos are geotagged and time stamped by project, often with labels and checklists, so they show the condition of a job site before, during and after the work.
What stays private.
Photos can show homeowners, faces and house numbers, and your company decides which projects are included.
We anonymize identifying details before anything moves. Polyshares does that work, so your team does not have to scrub records first.
Your company keeps ownership of its data. The license is bounded to defined material and a defined use.
Polyshares is the buyer and pays your company directly. There is no fee or commission, and Polyshares reviews the record before it makes any offer.
Common questions about CompanyCam data.
Who can export the project list?
Only Admins and Managers can run exports, and only from the web app. Standard Users need to ask one of them.
Can I download edited photos or originals?
Both. When photos have been edited, CompanyCam asks whether you want the Original or Modified versions.
Can I download every photo in the account at once?
The documented download works per project or on photos you select. Ask CompanyCam support about a full library export.
