How to find and export your monday.com data.
monday.com does not give a single item total for the account. The account data export in Administration contains every shareable and private board, so the item count in those files is the best number. Report items as records.
Where monday.com shows how much you have.
- Sign in as an admin, click your profile picture at the top right and select Administration.
- Open General > Account and scroll to Export account data at the bottom of the page.
- Run the export, then count the item rows across the board files in the zip.
Plan and role. The Administration section is for account admins. The export can run once every 24 hours, and every admin on the account is notified.
What to report on the Polyshares intake.
Report monday.com in records. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.
Report total items as records. For years in use, use the year the account was created or the date of the oldest board. Seats are the paid seats on your plan, since monday.com bills per seat.
Export the full history.
- Go to Administration > General > Account and scroll to Export account data.
- Click Export. Leave files included for a complete copy, or tick the box to skip files for a faster export.

The export covers shareable and private boards. Archived boards and workdocs are not supported, so export workdocs as PDF before you start. For single boards, monday.com also documents exporting to Excel, and its API can read boards, items and column values.
The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.
Why monday.com data has value for AI training.
monday.com boards record operational work in columns a team defined for itself: stages, owners, dates and status. Item updates hold the discussion behind each change, which ties how a process was designed to how people actually ran it.
What stays private.
The account export includes private boards, so you decide which board files to hold back before sharing anything.
We anonymize identifying details before anything moves. Polyshares does that work, so your team does not have to scrub records first.
Your company keeps ownership of its data. The license is bounded to defined material and a defined use.
Polyshares is the buyer and pays your company directly. There is no fee or commission, and Polyshares reviews the record before it makes any offer.
