How to find and export your ClickUp data.
ClickUp does not show a task total for the Workspace, and storage is unlimited on paid plans, so storage used is not a useful size figure. The practical count is the number of rows in the Workspace task export, available on Business and above. Report tasks as records.
Where ClickUp shows how much you have.
- Click your Workspace avatar in the upper left and select Settings.
- In the All settings sidebar, select Imports / Exports and export task data from every Space.
- Count the rows in the CSV. Each row is one task.
Plan and role. Workspace task export is on the Business plan and above. Storage runs from 60MB on Free Forever to unlimited on Unlimited, Business and Enterprise.
What to report on the Polyshares intake.
Report ClickUp in records. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.
Report the task row count as records. For years in use, use the oldest created date in the export. Seats are the paid members on your ClickUp plan.
Export the full history.
- Open Settings > Imports / Exports from the Workspace avatar menu.
- Choose the Spaces, Folders, Subfolders and Lists to include. Very large exports may fail, so export in smaller groups of locations if needed.
- Download the CSV right away. Links to exported data expire after one hour.
The CSV includes task fields and properties, comments, time estimates and hyperlinks to attachments, not the files themselves. It is only on Business and above; on other plans you can export individual List or Table views. Anything the CSV misses has to come through the ClickUp API.
The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.
