How to find and export your Sage Intacct data.

Sage Intacct does not show a total data size. Run and export reports for your main transactions, count the rows and report that number as records. For the full history, use Data Delivery Service under Company > Setup.

Check your data

Where Sage Intacct shows how much you have.

Open the Reports center and run a report that lists your main transactions, such as general ledger entries or invoices, across all dates.
Select an output type such as CSV or Excel from the dropdown beside Print, then select Go to save the file.
Count the rows in the file. Repeat for other transaction reports you want included and add the totals.

Plan and role. Any Sage Intacct company. What you can run and export depends on the permissions on your user, so ask your company administrator if a report or object is missing.

What to report on the Polyshares intake.

Report Sage Intacct in records. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.

Report the combined transaction row count as records. For years in use, take the date of the oldest general ledger entry. For seats, count the named Sage Intacct users on the company.

Export the full history.

Have your administrator configure a cloud storage destination for Data Delivery Service.
Go to Company > Setup > Data Delivery Service, select the objects you need, and choose to extract all records for each object.
Run the export. Each object's records land as a .csv file in the configured cloud storage.

Data Delivery Service is Sage's method for large exports. It writes object records to .csv files and posts them to a cloud storage service rather than downloading to your computer. After the first full run, it can extract only records changed since the last export.

Reports and lists can also be exported to CSV, Excel, Word or text, which suits smaller filtered pulls. Sage's overview does not list subscription or permission requirements for Data Delivery Service, so confirm them with your Sage Intacct partner or account manager.

The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.

Can Data Delivery Service export only new records after the first run?

Yes. You can extract all records for each selected object, or only the records that changed after the last export.

How do I export a single report?

Run the report, choose an output type such as CSV or Excel from the dropdown beside Print, then select Go. For an existing financial report, choose the output type and select Export.
