How to find and export your WooCommerce data.

WooCommerce Analytics counts orders for any date range, so report total orders as records. WordPress also shows the total database size under Tools > Site Health > Info. Use an administrator account for both.

Where WooCommerce shows how much you have.

  1. In the WordPress admin, go to Analytics > Orders, set a custom date range from the first order to today, and read the order count.
  2. If older orders are missing, import them under Analytics > Settings > Import Historical Data.
  3. For database size, go to Tools > Site Health > Info and open Directories and Sizes.

Plan and role. WooCommerce 5.3 or later includes Analytics. Use a WordPress administrator account.

What to report on the Polyshares intake.

Report WooCommerce in records. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.

Report total orders as records. For years in use, take the date of the first order. For seats, count the WordPress users who manage the store.

Export the full history.

  1. In Analytics > Orders, set the full date range and click Download. Large sets run in the background, and WooCommerce emails a download link to the admin who started it.
  2. Go to Products > All Products, click Export, keep Export all columns, and generate the CSV.
  3. For a complete copy that includes customers and order notes, ask your hosting provider for a backup of the WordPress database.

Analytics downloads contain the columns in the report table, not every order field. Core WooCommerce includes a product CSV exporter but no full order or customer CSV exporter; WooCommerce sells a separate Customer / Order / Coupon Export extension for that. A database backup from your host is the most complete copy.

The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.

Why WooCommerce data has value for AI training.

WooCommerce runs many niche and B2B stores. Orders with line items, coupons and customer types show real purchase patterns from small merchants that rarely appear in public data.

What stays private.

Payment gateway credentials and WordPress user passwords stay on the site; order and product exports carry the useful history.

We anonymize identifying details before anything moves. Polyshares does that work, so your team does not have to scrub records first.

Your company keeps ownership of its data. The license is bounded to defined material and a defined use.

Polyshares is the buyer and pays your company directly. There is no fee or commission, and Polyshares reviews the record before it makes any offer.

Common questions about WooCommerce data.

Why does WooCommerce Analytics show fewer orders than we expect?

Analytics may not include orders placed before it started tracking. Import them under Analytics, Settings, Import Historical Data, and skip previously imported orders if ranges overlap.

Where did my Analytics download go?

Large downloads run as a background job. WooCommerce emails a link to the address on the WordPress account that started the download.

Can I export only some products?

Yes. Filter the export by product type or category, or select products in the list and export only the selected items.
