How to find and export your Gorgias data.
Gorgias has no storage figure, so count tickets. Account owners, admins and leads can export an Inbox view to CSV, up to 1 million tickets at a time, and the row count is your total. Report tickets as records.
Where Gorgias shows how much you have.
- Sign in as the account owner, an admin or a lead.
- Open Inbox from the dropdown menu in the top left and choose a view that holds all tickets.
- Select all tickets, click the three dots icon and choose Export tickets.
- Open the emailed CSV and count the rows. Each row is one ticket.
Plan and role. Ticket exports are on all Helpdesk plans but limited to the account owner, admins and leads. All roles can view Analytics drill-downs.
What to report on the Polyshares intake.
Report Gorgias in records. The intake also asks how many years the company has used it and how many seats it has.
Report the ticket total as records. For years in use, take the oldest created date in the CSV. Gorgias does not price per agent, so for seats count the people who log in to answer tickets.
Export the full history.
- For ticket metadata, export from an Inbox view with Export tickets as above. The CSV has ticket ID, subject, tags, channel, assignee, customer, timing and custom fields.
- For message text, open Analytics, click a metric in a report with a drill-down, click Export and choose Export with message content.
- For full history with messages, email Gorgias support and ask for a custom export. Download links from any export stay active for 14 days.
Exports with message content cover only the most recent 30 days of the selected period, up to 100,000 tickets, and include public messages only. Internal notes, ticket events, social media posts and Instagram media are left out of all exports. An export of 1 million tickets can take up to 10 hours.
The intake only needs the size, so you do not have to run an export to fill it in. You also do not need to clean or scrub an export. Polyshares handles anonymization before anything moves.
Why Gorgias data has value for AI training.
Gorgias is built for online stores, so its tickets center on orders: returns, shipping delays, sizing questions and refunds, answered in the brand's own voice. That is a focused record of retail customer service at scale.
What stays private.
You decide which stores and channels are in scope, and payment card details are never part of what gets licensed.
We anonymize identifying details before anything moves. Polyshares does that work, so your team does not have to scrub records first.
Your company keeps ownership of its data. The license is bounded to defined material and a defined use.
Polyshares is the buyer and pays your company directly. There is no fee or commission, and Polyshares reviews the record before it makes any offer.
