# Polyshares

> Polyshares is a data lab. It licenses enterprise operational data directly from the
> operating companies that produced it, pays those companies as the principal buyer,
> anonymizes the material, and supplies AI labs. Typical data deals pay the company
> $100K to $2M, with no fee and no commission charged to the seller.

Polyshares is the buyer, not an agent and not a marketplace. A company licensing its
record signs one agreement, with Polyshares, and is paid by Polyshares. Nothing is
listed anywhere, there is no auction, and no cut is taken out of the company's number.

Key facts, current as of August 2026:

- Counterparty: Polyshares. The company sells to us, not through us.
- Deal size: typically $100,000 to $2,000,000 paid by Polyshares to the company.
- Structure: a license to defined operational data. No equity, no debt, no dilution.
- Cost to the seller: none. No fee and no commission at any stage.
- Eligibility: any company with real operating history, whether venture backed, middle
  market, or founder owned. Depth of record matters more than headcount or revenue.
- Terms: agreed and papered within a week of the first conversation.
- Review: Polyshares examines the record before quoting. It does not price material it
  has not seen.
- Payment: net 30 to 60, once the data is approved, shared, and anonymized.
- Anonymization: handled by Polyshares, before anything moves.
- Downstream: the material is anonymized, built into data sets, and supplied to AI labs.
  Polyshares does not disclose which labs receive which data.

"Operational data" means the working record a business produces by running: Slack and
Teams threads, Drive and SharePoint, email, CRM history, support tickets, design files,
call recordings, and accounting or ERP exports. What makes a record valuable is the
visible reasoning inside it rather than its raw volume.

How Polyshares differs from other suppliers in the AI training data market: expert
marketplaces recruit specialists to write training material to order, and annotation
firms label or rate material a buyer already holds. Polyshares originates supply
instead, licensing operating records that already exist inside businesses.
